Barwick Estates is a modern winery nestled in the Yelverton area of the Margaret River wine region less than 15 minutes from Dunsborough. In 1997 a group of friends planted their first vineyard in the Blackwood Valley at the historic “Dwalganup” property, reviving a vineyard that was developed by pioneers in the 1880s. In 1998 additional vineyards were planted in the premium wine regions of Pemberton and Margaret River. Barwick Estates now has almost 500 acres of estate vineyards placing it in the top 10 wine producers in Western Australia
