Notes and Reviews
ChaÌ_Ì¢teau Notes: Wines of great distinction, with subtle aromas and an extremely complex bouquet permeating

Robert Parker: Palette is a tiny appellation just east of Aix en Provence that in actuality consists of only one serious winemaking estate, the ChaÌ_Ì¢teau Simone. This tiny estate of 37 acres produces a surprisingly long-lived, complex red wine; a fairly oaky, old-styled roseÌ_å wine; and a muscular, full-bodied white wine that behaves as if it were from the northern RhoÌ_Ì¢ne Valley. Simone’s wines are not inexpensive, but they do age extremely well and have always had a loyal following in France.
